Counter-intelligence?

What's that gotta do with ME ?

From Counterintelligence to a New Police State

"promote illogical thinking and impulsiveness to the point where the recipient would be discredited in public"

"alter personality structure in such a way that the tendency of the recipient to become dependent upon another person is enhanced"

"cause mental confusion of such a type that the individual under its influence will find it difficult to maintain a fabrication under questioning"

Taken from a site entitled "MKULTRA: CIA Mind Control".

"...Weed and Seed is a national federally funded program which subordinates social service spending to the agenda of the Justice Department. Michael Zinzun of Los Angeles's Coalition Against Police Abuse put it bluntly: "Operation Weed and Seed does nothing but further militarize our communities and criminalize our youth--criminalize an entire generation. It's the system's solution to a shortage of jobs and educational opportunities.""

"...We now know that the FBI used crime as a tool to destroy Black radicals in the 1960s. Earl Anthony, once deputy minister of information for the Black Panther Party, and simultaneously agent provocateur for the FBI, points out in his book, Spitting in the Wind, that one of his main tasks for the FBI was to lure activists into drug dealing, robbery and prostitution."

The way security agencies use the media to portray the "dangers" that we live under make it unnecessary for me to provide relevant links.

The part you're not supposed to think about:

confiscating children

political prisoners
state ordered reeducation

FOSTER CARE

"...they fear losing their children to the foster-care system while they get their own lives in order."

"What looks like a family isn’t necessarily what children need. Children need a living setting which behaves like a family, providing them consistent love from caring adults, stability and satisfaction of their physiological needs. They need living environments which provide structure, values, a place they feel they belong and matter and where dreams are encouraged. That setting can be a small community with many adults and positive peers who care for, nurture and serve as role models for these children. Boarding schools are little communities or “villages.” "

From an article about "boarding schools".

MENTAL HEALTH

Department of Children & Family Services
Our Mission: To provide a system of care, in partnership with families and the community, that enables children and adults with mental health problems or emotional disturbances to successfully live in the community, to be self sufficient or to attain self-sufficiency at adulthood, and realize their full potential.

POLITICALLY CORRECT - societal conditioning through propaganda (using popular culture)
ANGER MANAGEMENT - a course often required as part of a court order
SENSITIVITY TRAINING - administered through places of employment

All in all, these conditionings reeducate individuals into allowing society to modify their behavior to serve current trends deemed necessary by the state.

CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE - the phrase itself should send a shiver down every American's back, but it's the phrase commonly used by law enforcement agencies when describing protesters or anyone who voices an opinion contrary to the interests of the state.

SOCIAL FUNCTIONS OF PRISONS

Technology, and the techniques with which government agencies apply them have developed to such a high degree, that the arrogance of major political powers has ensured the practice of covert (and not so covert) marshal law on a global scale.

If I were a wealthy individual, who depended on the state to maintain social stability, I would dismiss all this information as a crafted device created by some unworldly idealist. And if I felt that such an individual actually threatened social stability, I might even consider such information subversive.

If I had the financial resources to secure legal council gifted and influential enough to have any transgression on my part overlooked, I might accept the above information, but I would be completely indifferent to it.

If I weren't well off enough to feel removed from the upheaval of the present state of affairs, I might be inclined to think, Civil disobedience ? - Are we supposed to obey someone? - Did I miss a memo?

If I felt absolutely put upon by the present state of affairs, I might be inclined to say something as ridiculous as:

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, - go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!" - Samuel Adams

And if I considered myself part of the huddled masses, I might go for the Bildenberg thing.

But this is not a class struggle.

This goes beyond personal comfort.

This "covert marshal law" is all well and good, but the information age being what it is, it's not going to stay covert for long. And then we're going to have to choose, not as a society, but as a species, where we go from here.

Every time there's a technological breakthrough, it's the same old song and dance. Those with power want to see how much they can take. And those with freedom have to decide how much they want to keep it.

This site was first put up on October 2nd, 2001. -- It's now January 14th, 2003 and upon reflection, I'd have to say that it's becoming harder for me to believe all this won't (for all practical purposes) just end up being another "class warfare" tactic.

Government gets rid of potential agitators, and corporate America gets cheap labor.

A win-win situation.
